Workers are busy building firewall architectures along Gucheng Road of Hongjiang City on July 12, 2016. The 771-meter long street is situated at Qianyang Ancient Town, a major site to be protected at the national level. Early this year, the city government has decided to rebuild the facades of buildings along the road into ancient style of Ming and Qing dynasties, reproducing the outlook of “No.1 Ancient Town of Xiangxi” called at that time.
