This year November 7 marks the traditional solar term of the Beginning of Winter. On that day, children play in a 100-mu (6.7-ha) golden ginkgo forest at a tea plantation in Guiyang County, Chenzhou City. The magnificent and attractive ginkgo forest becomes a good place for leisure travel.
On the occasion of the Beginning of Winter, two 200-year-old ginkgo trees on Ziyun Mountain, Hengyang County are turning yellow, like wearing a golden armor. The golden leaves are falling as the autumn wind breezes. The leaves, scattered on the ground, constitute a beautiful autumn scene.
