Changsha South Korean Trade Center to Open in August

The opening ceremony of South Korea Culture Commodity Festival was held in Changsha on June 21. It was revealed that Changsha South Korean Trade Center, acting as a mediator for the bilateral business collaboration between South Korea and Hunan, will open to the public in August as the 11th South Korea Trade Center in China's Mainland.

According to the Consulate General of the Republic of Korea (ROK) in Wuhan whose consular districts include Hubei, Hunan, Henan and Jiangxi provinces, Changsha South Korean Trade Center is the second South Korean official organization unrolling business in Hunan after the Consulate General in Wuhan. It will facilitate the trade between the two sides.

During the South Korea Culture Commodity Festival, about 350 South Korean products, the most representative ones, from 100 enterprises will be exhibited in Heiwado Mansion. A trial promotion of outstanding products from Seoul Business Agency (SBA) and an economic and trade fair of South Korean outstanding enterprises will also be held.

Hunan's exports to South Korea, the fifth largest export market of Hunan, rose by 54.2% last year to hit $800,000,000.
