Photos taken on Dec. 23 show citizens are appreciating eye-catching lanterns in the rain at the Sandbeach Park on the Orange Isle. The China (Changsha) International Lantern Carnival 2016 consists of four themed parts including “Hilarious Spring Festival”, “Lively Lantern Festival”, “Exciting Lantern Show” and “Fun with Lanterns”. More than 50 groups of grand lantern lights were lit up, making the Orange Isle a sea of joy and happiness. The festival lasts from Dec. 23 to Feb. 23.
