The 2013 Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment and Trade Promotion Week concluded on June 21.
Changsha led other cities in Hunan in terms of volume and gross investment by signing 35 projects during the event, involving a total investment of 4.996 USD, with 3.442 billion USD to be introduced, according to the Changsha Commerce Bureau. The projects cover a wide range of areas, including high and new technology, modern service, auto manufacturing, commercial logistics and culture creativity.
Changsha delegation, focusing on leading industries such as modern service industry, launched a series of effective investment attraction and exchange and cooperation programs during the event, in a bid to fully utilize Hong Kong's superior resources, broaden cooperation fields and expedite the development of Changsha's open economy.
Numerous business matching and negotiation activities were also held by the commerce and investment departments at various levels in Changsha. A rough calculation shows that 130 projects and 340 enterprises were matched during the event, with the intention investment reaching 80 billion yuan.
