Hosted by the Elderly University of East Sports Road Community and co-sponsored by the Changde Opera Association, an opera was held on White Horse Lake, Wuling District, Changde City on April 25, 2014 in order to mark the coming May Day holiday. Sheng (male), Dan (female), Jing (painted-face male), Mo (aged male), and Chou (comic male) staged wonderful performances, such as part of An Embroidered Treasure Pouch, Young Phoenix High up in the Air, and Silver Spear, winning loud applause from the audience.
