Chang-Zhu-Tan Intercity Railway under Final Construction

Photo taken on Feb. 19, 2016 shows constructors are working with a tunneling shield machine at the shield original well of Liuyuan Road, Changsha City. The construction of western section of Changsha Station of Changsha-Zhuzhou-Xiangtan Inter-city Railway is in full swing after the Spring Festival holiday. The 95.5-kilometer-long railway is in the home stretch with last 3 kilometers to go. It is now constructed at a speed of 10 meters per day towards the Kaifu Temple direction, and is estimated to be completed at the end of the year.
