CCTV Shoots Feature Program about Zhangjiajie Tianmen Mountain

Recently, camera crew from Far-off Home of CCTV Chinese International Channel visits Tianmen Mountain for filming natural wonders, historical and cultural sites and leisure features there. This shooting will make a 45-minute feature program about the mountain that is scheduled to be broadcast on CCTV 4 in July, 2011.

The host and photographer are at work in Guigu Pathway

During the filming process, the camera crew was overwhelmed by magnificent and precipitous Karst landform, amazing clouds sea, and human wonders like Guigu Pathway (pathway on the cliffs) and Tianmen cable cars.

According to director, this program will represent Tianmen Mountain as a unique and grand world geological park to people from around the world. Far-off Home is a high-end travel program introducing China’s natural beauty and folk custom to overseas audiences, which will be shown on 23:26 from Monday to Friday weekly. It will also be aired through Asian, American and European Channels.

The host is interviewing a tourist from Thailand. She said that she is stunned by fantastic landscape of Tianmen Mountain and other scenic spots of Zhangjiajie.
