Amount of Zhangjiajie Visitors Tops in Central China's Non-capital Cities

Zhangjiajie Frontier Inspection Station revealed on June 22 that the number of Zhangjiajie's entry-exit passengers this year has hit an all-time high. Till June, 20, 306 flights carried 40,125 passengers in and out, a rise of 139% and 113% respectively over the same period of last year, and ranking top among non-capital cities of central China.

Zhangjiajie has made great efforts this year, in stabilizing its amount of domestic visitors and attracting more international travelers. By fully utilizing various campaigns in this regard such as "Cross-strait Social Gathering" and "Hunan (Hong Kong) Investment and Trade Promotion Week", Zhangjiajie has opened several international flights in order to strengthen its market in Asia such as South Korea, Singapore, Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan. Until now, 8 domestic and international airline companies including China Eastern Airline, China Southern Airline, Korean Air, Jeju Air Korea, Oriental Thai Airlines, Bangkok Airways, Taiwan TransAsia Airways, and Taiwan UNI Air have launched numerous flights towards the city from Busan, Taegu and Cheongju of South Korea, Bangkok of Thailand, Taipei and Gaoxiong.
