As the longest suspension bridge across canyon in the world, Aizhai Bridge in Hunan, China that opened to traffic last year is on the list of successful candidate.
Located in Aizhai town, Jishou city, Hunan province, Xiangxi Aizhai suspension bridge (Aizhai Bridge) is the control engineering that connected the Changsha-Chongqin expressway to Jishou-Chadong expressway. The vertical altitude difference from the bridge floor to the bottom of the valley is 330 meters and the span diameter is 1,176 meters, becoming the first tower-beam separated suspension bridge and adopting new technology to install the main beam.
Other listed new landmarks embody: Australian Golden Coast Sky Observation Deck, Britain London Olympic Watchtower, America Washington Automobile Museum, Los Anglos Gang Museum, New York Brooklyn Bridge Park Swimming Pool, Kansas City Ocean Marine Aquarium, Finland Helsinki Silent Church and Norway Arch Culture Center.
