Authorized by the Deputy Director-General of National Tourism Authority of Thailand, Mr. Zheng Biwen, Director of Department of East Asia of the authority, expressed Thailand’s hopes to enhance cooperation and exchange with Zhangjiajie by utilizing the influence of mass media to promote travel and propel friendly communications between the two parties.
Mr. Zheng wishes for more Thai people to understand and approach Zhangjiajie, to appreciate its stunning natural scenery by effective cooperation and exchange of the two sides’ mass media. Meanwhile, the Chinese tourists will get a chance to better understand Thailand’s customs, history, culture, beautiful and recreational travel products, as well as its unique and attractive landscape. He added that communication in this field will decrease the distance between the two regions, and further promote their friendship.
