From March 16 to 27, Head of the Hunan Provincial Tourism Bureau Yang Guangrong led a travel promotion team consisting of members from key municipal travel bureaus and leading tour enterprises to make sales promotion in Russia.
From March 17 to 19, the sales promotion team attended the Russian International Tourism Exposition. The large pictures of Zhangjiajie and Fenghuang Ancient Town were prominently displayed to attract the eyes of Russian consumers. During the exposition, the promotion team received consultation from 300 visitors and gave out over 2,000 travel promotional items. On the afternoon of March 19, with the assistance of the China National Tourist Office in Moscow, the team held a promotion conference in Moscow, which drew the participation of over 50 Russian tour operators and reporters.
